How to have more control over anything

Let's face it; nobody likes to feel like their out of control. It sucks, I know. You overslept, woke up on a school day, looked at your phone only to realize that, not only did you oversleep, but you overslept to the point where you now literally have only 5 minutes until school starts. To start your day off, you (very gracefully) fall out of bed, somehow manage to get yourself trapped in a huge pile of blankets, hop down the stairs because you  have zero time to change, only to step outside into a freezing and snowy weather. You go next door to your neighbor who tells you that their daughter's brother's mother's sister in law can give you their fur coat. After you get the coat, you run to your car, slip on ice, lose your blankets, slip on those blankets, then get to your car only to realize that you have nothing but your pajamas on. You, however, decide to go to school anyway because being on time sounds alot better than wearing normal clothes. As if things weren't bad enough, you run out of gas on the way to school, so you pull over, hang the white thingy on your window, stand by your car, and wave your hands in the air...in...  your... pajamas. After a policeman drives by and gives you a questioning look, they pull over, attach your vehicle to whatever contraption they have going on, and drive off. Then, after a 4 hour long drive of playing 50 questions, you finally arrive to school... only to hear that the school's closed due to the weather.

Here are some of the steps you can take to have more control

Step 1: set a goal

So, the first and foremost thing that you need to do, is to have a specific goal in mind. This can be absolutely anything in the world. Think of the one thing that is practically out of your control. Something that practically cannot be explained by science. Have that in mind? Great! Let's keep going!

Step 2: Make a plan

Okay, so now that you have your goal in mind, you need to make a plan. In other words, you need to be able to come up with a way to achieve your goal.  If you have a goal in mind, then, that's great! You should continue to practice or study, or whatever you need to do to get there. Having a passion, a good work ethic, and determination are all things that can help.

Step 3: Achieve the goal

Okay, so now we're getting to part where it's pretty self explanatory. So, after you have already set a goal for yourself, made a plan to get to your goal, executed your plan, you should be able to reach your goal.

Also, if you want a really good tip, then the best thing you could possibly do is to believe in yourself because that is one of the most powerful things that anyone can do. As long as you have this belief that anything is possible, then anything really is possible. Be sure to keep this in mind the next time you try to set a goal for yourself.
